What is the DHE Assam Student Unique ID?

This unique ID is launched by the Higher Education Department of Assam so that a student can take admission only one college or university.
Why is the Unique ID Mandatory?
Since the 2020-2021 academic session, DHE Assam has required every student to generate a Unique ID for online admissions. Whether you’ve already filled out an admission form or secured a seat, you must generate this ID through the official DHE portal at directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in. This ensures a streamlined process and helps maintain accurate student records across institutions.

How to Generate Your Unique ID
Creating your Unique ID is straightforward! Follow these simple steps:
- Visit the Official Portal: https://dheonlineadmission.amtron.in/
- Click on Registration – Unique ID Generation.
- Enter in your personal information, examination and course details, and bank account information accurately.
- Certify and Submit: Check the “I certify” box and hit the Submit button.
- Receive Your Unique ID: Upon successful submission, you’ll get your Unique ID, and a confirmation SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number. Keep this ID safe for future reference!
Note: If you generated a Unique ID in a previous academic session, you don’t need to create a new one. Simply use the existing ID or log in to update your details if needed.
Need to Make Corrections?
Made a mistake in your application? No worries! DHE Assam allows corrections through the “Update/Correction Form” on their portal. Just follow the same steps as above, update the necessary fields, and submit. It’s that easy!
