What is the Ambedkar Scholarship Yojana?

Ambedkar Scholarship Scheme 2025 is a scholarship scheme run by the central and state governments. Under this scheme financial assistance of up to ₹ 12,000 is given every year to 10th pass students for further studies. The objective of this scheme is to encourage students from economically weaker sections for higher education and to provide financial support so that they do not face any hindrance in further studies.

At present this scheme is launched exclusively for the students of Haryana. the Ambedkar Scholarship Yojana is a financial aid initiative by the Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Caste & Backward Classes, Government of Haryana to the students belonging to scheduled castes, backward classes and other sections of the society. Under this scheme, eligible students pursuing Class 11, diploma, certificate, or professional courses receive annual financial assistance directly in their bank accounts.

Who is Eligible?

To apply for the Ambedkar Scholarship Yojana, the applicant must:

• The Students must be a resident of Haryana
• Have passed Class 10 Examination.
• Must be taken admission in Class 11, diploma, or higher education courses
• Belong to SC or recognized backward category or economically weaker section
• Have relevant documents and a valid bank account.
• he annual family income of the student from all sources should not exceed Rs.4.00 lakh.
